Shaheed deserves a spot on Berkeley's basketball team more than most of the players do. He has worked hard in the off season and has improved his game to the maximum. It would seem as if nobody works as hard as he does practicing and getting ready for his senior season. After trying out and making the team his junior year, Shaheed was forced to sit out a season after being ineligible. During and after the season he worked harder to improve his game. Over the summer he attended basketball camps involving the team and individually. He conditioned, attended work outs, and lifted weights with the team. Shaheed's senior season after, waiting for eligibility, he was cut from Berkeley High Schools varsity basketball team. There is no reason why that should have happened when he made the team last year and worked harder than most of the players in improvement. Shaheed has proved that he should have his rightful spot on the roster and with your help he can do so.
