I request for your consideration for giving our pay at par with ONGC. As coal mining where we work is very hazardous industry with totally unnatural conditions but striving always with ultimate contribution for achieving production targets in nation's building.

India's electricity sector consumes about 72% of the coal produced where CIL contributes around 82% of the coal production in India. I mean CIL literally light this country but it's employees can't get better salary.

While finalising Pay structure for CIL Executive, authority must think about the working condition of the Industry. CIL Execitives are also working round the clock against nature. Family life of the Executives are also effected due to their posting at remote places with limited resources.

This is injustice to the junior executives upto e-4 level. Even after reaching a level of Maharatna the salary structure of junior level executives is of miniratna only. Moreover due to recent pay revision of non executives their highest pay is more than the lowest pay scale of executive which is against the rules.
