El documental "After Maria" de Netflix, es un cortometraje recientemente agregado que se supone que muestra lo que nosotros, los puertorriqueños, sufrimos después del huracán María en 2017. El filme solo se enfoca en tres familias que FEMA trasladó a los EE. UU. , y no sobre lo que pasó aquí en la isla después del huracán. Me parece que este filme es un insulto para nosotros, las personas que tuvimos que hacer horas e incluso días de fila para obtener gasolina o hielo; para las personas que iban a las carreteras con machetes e intentaron limpiarlas; y para las personas que literalmente tuvieron que enterrar a un familiar en su patio porque no había otra manera. Por estas y muchas otras razones, exijo a Netflix que elimine la película de su plataforma.

The documentary film "After Maria" from Netflix, is a recently added short film that is supposed to show what, we Puerto Ricans, suffered after the hurricane Maria in 2017. The film only focuses on three families that were moved by FEMA to the USA, and not on what happened here on the island after the hurricane. I encounter that this film an insult to us, the people that had to make hours and even days of line to get gas or ice, to the people that went to the roads with machetes and tried to clean them and to the people that literally had to bury a familiar in their backyard because there was no other way. For this and many other reasons, I demand Netflix to remove the film from their platform.
