Removal of dangerous canine residing in Starlight Village for the following reasons:
- Threat to pets
- Threat to humans
- Killed 80 Lb goat named Migo and injured a second goat named Paco (150 Lbs) belonging to James and Karen Millers residents of Philomath
- Dog has been running at large for over a year and has been documented in both Next Door apps as well as Benton County Animal Control's Facebook page
- Has been aggressive towards a human and has been reported to the Philomath Police Department who have pictures of said canine
- Owner has been negligent and is aware that the canine has been menacing the community and has failed to take action
Action for Petition: We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge our municipal leaders to maintain a safe environment for our community members and for our pets by permanetly removing this dangerous canine from Philomath and that appropriate messures are taken.

As a veterinarian, I take the issue of aggressive animals very seriously. While it is natural for a dog to have prey drive and want to attack an animal they see as prey, there are far too many cases of those same dogs attacking people (especially children). When an owner is unwilling or unable to keep their pet from harming others, it is vital to the safety of the community (and even the owners) to have that animal removed from their care.
We live very close to where this happend to their sweet goats, & I have a 13 year old son, a dog &a cat. I strongly urge the removal of this dog as a danger too my family as well & all the kids running around our neighborhood!!! We can't have a vicious dog endangering us all!!! This is serious!!!
Please take the appropriate lawful action for an animal at large that kills livestock.
Sad as it is, aggressive pets cannot be allowed to terrorize our community.
Sad situation. Dog owner needs to be held responsible
Please keep our community safe from dangerous animals. If owners are not held responsible, others will follow suit and allow their animals to roam freely.
The owner should be held responsible too

I believe this is the dog that attacked my goat that eventually lead to his death. His vet bills were in the $100s.
