We - the undersigned - are young people who use and rely on council services daily. We didn’t get a say in the referendum, and those who did never even got to vote on the financial case. We are urging the council to scrap the City Garden Project now before it’s too late. £92m is too big a loan to justify and we are concerned for our generation's future.

By signing this petition you also sign the public letter going to Council leader Barney Crockett on Wednesday 15th August. The letter is available here.

Barney Crockett thinks he can bury us in debt without anyone noticing. We are actively coordinating with community organizers to expose exactly how this project destroys our future and we refuse to back down.

Ridiculous amount of money. Think about the youth centers that are closing down because of budget cuts instead of this vanity project.

92 million is mental. we cant even get the roads fixed properly but they want to spend all that on a garden? fix the actual problems first

Total waste of cash. Aberdeen needs real investment not some fancy flowers for tourists to walk past.
