Coach Jody Webb needs your help! This is a good man whose character and integrity have been put into question by the Boise School District this fall 2015. Jody has been a strong pillar in the Idaho wrestling community for the past 13 years. This man does so much for young kids, disenfranchised kids, handicapped kids, and the sport of wrestling. Jody has saved many young men from drugs and bad paths and given them a positive focus. The way Jody has been treated by the Boise School District is truly unfortunate and needs to stop immediately!
Jody was accused a month before the 2015/2016 wrestling season of an "alleged" bookkeeping mistake. He decided to fight this allegation. Boise Schools responded by sending their accusation to the Boise Police Dept. and the Ada County Prosecutor's office. After a lengthy investigation, any "alleged" misconduct was cleared by the Ada County Prosecutor's office, and his case is now back in the hands of the district office. (Great use of our tax dollars, don't you think?) Throughout this ordeal, It appears to us that the Boise School District has two different standards for employees- one standard for those who are connected within the district, and another standard for those who are not connected and powerful. It appears to us they can terminate coaches positions based upon a "guy with an agenda", and do this with no oversight from the Board of Trustees. This is the 2nd coach at Capital HS that has had to undergo their reckless behavior in the past 2 years! Coaches are called on to wear a lot of hats: promoters, fundraisers, manage feeder clubs, and bookkeepers. Jody is the kind of guy who needs to be lifted up and not torn down by the district. If there are problems with bookkeeping the district should help coaches out and let them focus on their main job; coaching and mentoring young men and women.
Jody and his family have been put through an incredible amount of stress and defamation of character over this ordeal. Please show your support and sign this petition showing support for reinstatement of his coaching AND teaching job immediately! Enough is enough!

BSD has two different standards for dealing with staff issues. Those in the "the good ole boys" club and the rest of the "worker bees" are treated two different ways. Slap on the wrist for some, compared to public defamation of character and humiliation. It isn't right.
I worked with and around Jody for many years. He is a genuine coach that has been building a program from the ground up. Coaches like Jody are hard to find these days and to remove one of them from our community would be an injustice.
I have not heard both sides on this. I do not support dismissing educators who have impeccable reputations for failing audits that can often contain moving targets and be interpreted by those with an agenda to impose change. Put the light of day on this.
Have had a Sin with special needs under Coach Webb's "wing" for years in the wrestling program at Capital High School ! Our son would not have excelled as he has without the structure and dedication Coach Webb has provided ! Reinstate Coach Webb ASAP!!!
Jody is a great supporter and advocate for the wrestling community. A lot of the kids involved in the wrestling programs are disadvantaged and from single parent homes, its important to have strong coaches and advocates for these kids and Jody is one of those people.
Excellent, moral coach!

My boys owe much of their success in their lives to Jody's mentoring. The values learned and character building have impacted them and I see those things being instilled in my grandchildren to this day. Jody is a great coach and wonderful man and he needs his job reinstated.
