As my friends and family many of you know the love I have for my sport of weightlifting, as well as the love for my religion, Judaism. This sport has taught me more about diligence, perseverance, and tenacity than any other are of my life. Yet, unfortunately, there is no competition within the United States where I can come together with my fellow Jewish weightlifting athletes to connect and enjoy the sport together. This is why I am Currently trying to petition to have weightlifting added back into the Maccabi games. If you could please share this page to any and all people; Jewish or not; weightlifters or not; American or not; to try and bring back this great opportunity for Jewish athletes.
