Tim and Matt have lost their position as teachers at Whytecliff Agile Learning Center, Focus B.C. They are both dedicated to providing a great learning environment for their students and making sure that grads are ready to face the world. Without Matt and Tim who will run creative writing, the cooking program, or teach science and English. Please support these teachers who have supported the students of Whytecliff so much over the years.

Seeing the momentum grow for Tim and Matt has honestly left me speechless. It is truly the dedication you have shown that is keeping our hope alive for the school.

Shame on the people that made this decision. They are not at the school on a day to day basis, they don't get to witness the dedication, patience & the connection these teacher's have with the students. If it wasn't for these two teacher's , my son would not have graduated. If it's regarding funding, start with letting some of the paid executive board go. They didn't make a difference at all in my son's life,
People who build connections to empower youth are few and far between. I had the privileged to work alongside Matt & Tim for some time and their impact on students is something that cannot be described unless you see it first hand. The reasoning, or lack of reasoning behind these actions should be challenged. It is unacceptable for an organization to push personal agendas before the needs of these kids.
I am utterly shocked to find out that Matt and Tim have both been let go from their teaching positions at Whytecliff! My daughter would have not graduated this year if it wasn't for the persistent dedication of her former teacher Matt. He always found the time to remind my daughter to believe in herself, as a successful student, and as a healthy person. He treated all of his students this way! The board should really reconsider their decision. If there is reduced funding in the program, why not job share? I hope that the board takes into consideration the order of seniority of these two teachers.
My name is Jake Gregorowich and I would just like to state that you are making a huge mistake. Without Matt and Tim I wouldn't be where I am today, and that goes for more people than just me. Tim has a family, it's not fair to him and it's not fair to the students who are close to him. They were the soul and heart of the school. Without them, as far as I'm concerned, Whytecliff Learning Centre is dead to me.
Matt and Tim both helped me through some interesting times when i was at Whytecliff. It truly would break my heart to see them leave the school. They both care so much about the students they get to teach and enjoy getting out of bed in the morning, not only work but to be with the people who care about them as well. They have both touched the hearts of their students while helping them academically and personally. Whyecliff just wont be the same.....
Dought it still matters but I wouldn’t have made it through school with out the help of these two amazing teachers hopefully they have great jobs now doing what they love sad to see you are gone x
Why would they even fire Matt and Tom they are some of the nicest and caring teachers I've ever met

Why would you let go two teachers that clearly have made great connections with students and inspired them to rise above the crappy things that have happened in their lives? Both Matt and Tim treat the kids at Whytecliff like they matter and can make a difference which is the most important thing. These teachers need to be given a chance to carry on making a difference in the lives of the kids who attended there.
