Petition to The NewsGuild - Communications Workers of America (TNG-CWA)
As a CFI member I strongly object to the actions by TNG-CWA against my colleagues who were democratically elected and served as our local’s volunteer executive board before the imposition of a temporary administrator.
These colleagues have made many significant contributions to our profession and our collective efforts over many years and they do not deserve this.
Your attack on our elected representatives is an attack on all of us. We need a union focused on improving our jobs and protecting our professional standards. Your actions are destroying the organization we built and alienating many strong union supporters.
Enough is enough.
End the smear campaign. Stop the divide and conquer tactics. Drop the lawsuit.
Reinstate the CFI 8. If they're not members then I must reconsider my own membership.

The days have been long and honestly quite draining for everyone involved in this work. We are nearing the target of one hundred signatures and I need you to push this a little further so we can hold them accountable.

This is completely wrong. We voted for them for a reason. Stop wasting our dues on these petty legal fights and focus on the members.
TNG-CWA needs to quit the power trips. we are the ones doing the work not the suits at the top.
Total BS. they have done more for us than the union leadership ever has. reinstated the 8!
Ridiculous. they served our local with integrity for years. bring them back now or lose my support.
