For so long, the MSI Science Minors/Achievers program has helped develop and shape young minds, allowing a platform for students to grow as communicators and leaders. Recently, however, the program's staff has been let go and the program has been terminated for the foreseeable future. Each Saturday, teenagers throughout Chicago would gather at 9:00 a.m. at MSI rather than hanging out with their friends and immerse themselves within the programs, creating bonds that transcend the program. Each Saturday, we would present to museum guests. Each Saturday, we would work to fulfill MSI's mission and inspire the inventive genius in museum guests, getting kids and adults alike excited about different scientific concepts. MSI's Science Minor/Achiever program was unique within the country and allowed a platform for us to learn, teach, and have a blast.
