The Boys and Girls Club of Lauderdale county has offered the students of Southeast after school care in past few years.This year they have decided to pull the program due to low attendance and lack of interest. This program greatly helps working families. The program is $25 a month, they offer help with homework and care for our children. The only way to have this service reinstated is to have a minimum of 50 people interested in the after school program. If you are interested please show your support by signing this petition. The signatures will be submitted directly to the Boys and Girls Club.

The after school care program would be a big help to me as a single working mom with his dad working in Columbus.
He is in the 6th grade this year and I wanted to sign him up for the boy's and girl's club this year. I hope you all don't close it.

This is a Godsend for single working parents. I know my child is taken care of.
