For 39 years we had a summer program that included swimming and at least a three day vacation, camp experience, trips planned all provided by Eden Autism Services. Now, no vacation program, no pools at the Group Homes that were paid for by the parents. will be used. The administration has announced that will not open the pools at the residences.. We the signers of this petition request the reinstatement of pool, vacation Programs for Adults.for the summer of 2016.

The adults in the group homes need a vacation and activities,
Pools should be kept open for summer relaxation and calm enjoyment of group home residents. Portion of assets from sales of CT camp and Cape May home should be dedicated to summer vacation/camp alternatives for adult participants.

If the issue is cost, why were parents not given the opportunity to raise the funding? If there is a safety/insurance issue, why wasn't that also mentioned? This process is not the Eden tradition.
