Come on Tesco- you are a part of our community- give Paul his job back. He was there rain or shine moving the trollies. You knew he had issues and allowances should be made. I saw him outside the store yesterday and he was devastated. Have a heart and give a vulnerable man his job back.
Why anyone would want to work for a corporate Mafia such as Tesco is beyond me, but firing a guy who's special circumstances were well known to the management for the simple reasons of illness related to those same special circumstances is reprehensible. Show some compassion, show some empathy, show some humanity and re instate this man, who's job is his life.
Paul is a friendly ,genuine and liked character of the ilminster community having also worked wth Paul for 8 years I'm really shocked and upset not to see him doing his trolley job at Tesco . I feel they have been unfair in sacking him and would love to see him reinstated in his job. Melanie Baldwin.
Sometimes very big businesses make local mistakes. What really matters is what they do next. Tesco still has the opportunity to protect their brand by doing the right thing for Paul and the community that so clearly values his contribution.
Paul is a tremendous person, I've known him since I was a teenager, what has happened to him is disgusting, and TESCO should think again about what they have done, especially he has been victimised by colleagues!!
Paul was a lovely chap to talk to and work with!! Give him his job back
Tesco should be totally decusted with there actions..this poor lad is not only a local lad but love his job. Never had he a day off without notifying tesco. He works hard and such a lovely freindly person. Despite his long lasting health. He is polite full and helps if he can. Tesco has lost a very admiral worker. Hopefully he sort legal advice and has great foundations to sue tesco...you cant just fire a good loyal worker like that! Shame on tesco. I sure as hell will be avoiding spending at tesco from now on. Here i come Morrison and asda

Tesco ought to be ashamed for sacking an autistic person, when he was there he really put his all into doing his job efficiency.
