We call upon Cardiff Council to reinstate a school crossing patrol person on Heol Llanishen Fach, which services Llanishen Fach Primary School. This is a large, busy primary school which is situated on a busy road.
The momentum behind this petition continues to grow as more residents recognize the danger our children face on Heol Llanishen Fach. This collective interest sends a clear message to the council regarding the necessity of a crossing patrol.

my grandchildren go hear and there are so many blind spots on this stretch of road and cars tear down that a child or even a parent will get killed if not sorted

My 3 girls attend the school, and iam astonished that we do not have a crossing patrol, it's on a bus route which should warrant an justify a crossing patrol, the council really needs to reconsider this immediately before something awful happens.

This is a busy crossroads junction with the crossing situated next to corners. I've lost count the number of times I have crossed this road with my daughter and cars have failed to stop. It's an accident waiting to happen!!

The crossing directly outside the school gate is where it's most needed. Negotiating the traffic with a 3 year old and pram is very difficult and it's only a matter of time before there is an accident.

directly outside the school on a bus route too. Shame on Cardiff council, what will it take before a crossing patrol is reinstated...are they waiting for a child to get knocked down or even worse. The reason there's no accidents is because there has ALWAYS been a school crossing patrol on duty. I'm fuming...

We need a Lollipop Person back here, not only to ensure safe crossing of the road for pedestrians but also to deter illegal & dangerously parked cars & also now trucks as witnessed this morning. A sleeping Policeman Ramp should also be considered to highlight the crossing.

I also call upon Cardiff Council to reinstate a school crossing patrol person outside of Llanishen Fach Primary School for the young children's safety to, and from, school...
