We residents of Wake Green Park, note and object to the decline in standards of Garden Maintenance on the estate following the furloughing in March of our regular full-time gardener, Martin, occasioned by the Covid-19 lockdown regulations, and which resulted in a change of gardening contractors.

It has become evident that more frequent and detailed attention to the gardens is required than the fortnightly grass-cutting sessions which are currently happening. Therefore, we call upon the WGP Board of Directors and the Estate Managers, Metro-PM, to renegotiate the terms of the relevant gardening contract to reinstate the daily presence of a Gardener to tend, tidy, and maintain the shrubs, flowerbeds and pathways, all of which have been much neglected since March.We residents consider these features to be essential to the attractive appearance of the estate.
