Being there are numerous children living on base housing, and the increasing number of speeders, we would like a bigger initiative from the officers on base to regulate the speed limit. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem as if the people receiving points deducted from their license, are taking it seriously. A bigger initiative could include, but are not limited to, speed bumps on certain streets, speed humps on certain streets, and/or the officers of goose creek supplying real tickets. With these or other initiatives in place, we hope people who continuously speed through the streets, will learn to respect them.
