Hello YOUTH SPORTS Fans, Friends and Family.

It is no secret that every year PSYL and AYSO have had to share fields. The AYSO & PSYL  has to vacate the four youth fields that were originally built as multipurpose field to replace the two Little League fields that used to be by Palm Springs Stadium. These fields were moved to make room for the

City pool and Leisure Center. AYSO uses this field for a single full size soccer field. Back when these fields were built, neither sport operated yearround.

Now both groups have need for a full time facility.

The City has repeatedly told both groups that there is money and that they are working on a plan to redo Demuth Park so that AYSO soccer can

have their fields and that PSYL will not have to vacate their fields. Both groups have patiently waited on plans for several years. They have had

several meetings with City Council members and the Parks Department on the potential revamping of the park. They tell us that they have money

set aside and there is a lot of grant money out there available from professional sporting organizations to build youth baseball fields. The current

update is that

NO ONE IS WORKING ON IT.

Both groups have missed out on revenue from hosting tournaments and clinics and firmly believe that it is time that the residents ask for fields

dedicated to the use for these organizations for the children, please sign this petition so we can get the City moving on this demographic!
