The University of Colorado Boulder backed down and the ELLC is staying right where it belongs. We forced them to listen and secured this space for our community. Stay sharp because we need to ensure they keep their word.

Safe Spaces is the protection to feel secure in an environment without facing any discrimination and prejudice. Without having your words and questions be used as challenges but an educational moment. The University of Colorado Boulder believes that 'Safe Spaces' are an important aspect to the community, yet wants to remove the diverse RAP on campus( Ethnic Living and Learning Community)(ELLC). Even though racism is not talked about it is still prevalent on this campus. Help support us keep the implementation of safe spaces by signing this petition.

The University of Colorado Boulder thinks they can dismantle the ELLC while we stay quiet. The momentum we have built proves they are dead wrong and we are not backing down.

CU needs to do better for us. Keeping this space is the bare minimum.

CU Boulder should be ashamed of themselves for this.

The ELLC was the only reason I felt comfortable my first year. Dont take this away from the incoming students.

I was in the business rap my freshmen year and found a safe community and a sence of belonging in the ELLC rap, I can't believe banning this rap is even a possibility.

Stop taking funds from the few and limited resources available to students of color and other marginalized groups.
