Bucks County Council finally stopped stalling and agreed to cut the speeds on London Road. We forced them to admit that our safety matters more than their convenience. Watch them closely so they actually put the new signs up instead of just talking about it.
We want the Bucks County Council to reduce the speed limits by 10mph from the junction of the A413, at the Chiltern Hospital, to the first 20mph sign in the village. This will help the 2000+ road users to have a safer passage along this very busy road.
The momentum behind this push proves the people of Great Missenden are finished risking their lives on this death trap of a road. Bucks County Council has spent long enough ignoring our safety while ignoring the blatant danger on London Road.

Finally someone is doing something about this. My kids walk to school and I worry every single day.

Ridiculous speeds for such a busy stretch. Needs speed bumps too.

Try pulling out of the driveway near the hospital during rush hour. Impossible. Needs to change.

Living right on this road is a nightmare with the noise and speed. Its only a matter of time before someone gets killed here.

WAY TOO FAST. People use this like a racetrack to get home from work. Slow it down before a kid gets hit.

Sort it out council. The limit makes no sense with how much traffic goes through there now.
