The feedback from boat owners and small business operators keeps proving that this change is going to break people who are already struggling to stay afloat. I spent the morning drafting another round of letters to officials even though the silence from their offices is beyond exhausting.

Seeing this momentum grow has been exhausting but it confirms that we are not fighting this alone. It is clear that plenty of people are feeling the same strain as these regulations loom over our livelihoods.

my family relies on the local fishing trade. this will put so many people out of work. please listen to us.
This is just another way to squeeze small businesses dry. The fishing industry is already struggling as it is.
54p is a massive jump. no way small boat yards can handle that hike at the pump.
Government just sees us as a cash cow. Boating isnt a hobby for the rich for most of us its a lifestyle.
Ridiculous red tape. My husband runs a small plant hire firm and this is going to kill his profit margins completely.
