Recent studies estimate that we use an astounding 129 billion face masks globally every month -- that is 3 million a minute. 99% of these are discarded and end up in landfills and our oceans. Sign this petition to help implement a Mask Recycling program on CSULB's campus and help reduce our environmental impact!

We plan on implementing recycling bins specifically for masks throughout the campus. We will send these masks to 3rd party companies (like Terracycle) which reduce masks into their raw materials and are then recycled into other products.
