Seeing the momentum behind this recognition for Bob feels heavy but necessary. It has been a long road to get people to notice what he has given to our community for decades, yet we are finally moving forward.

He has been working in Blacktown for 67 years , he lives and works for the people of Blacktown he also was treasurer of the show society for over 30 years , he had trained many many apprentices,, and work experiences students from different schools in Blacktown , his family has hosted many students from other countries South Africa , Korea, Finland , America , Buffalo in USA . He is a life member of Blacktown Apex , Rotarian , he was on the Board of Blacktown Workers for 10 years . I do believe he is very much entitled to the Outstanding Citizen of the year as a T the age of 81 he is still working in Blacktown as he cares so much for his clients .
Bob has worked and served Blacktown for over 70 years employing hundreds of people and training young men and women to become hairdressers in Blacktown also his volunteer work for 60 years

My daughter Michelle was one of Bob's apprentice hairdressers many years ago. She has long retired but still does my hair. Thank you Bob for being an outstanding member of the community.
