The homeowners of the Villages of Millwood are calling for transparency, accountability, and adherence to the governing documents that bind our community. According to those documents, the Master HOA Board is required to facilitate regular elections and operate in good faith on behalf of its residents.

Instead, the current Master HOA Board has:

  • ❌ Failed to hold a required election in 2025, extending its authority without a lawful vote (Bylaws Article III, Section 3.4)
  • ❌ Imposed new community rules — including pool restrictions — without a 67% homeowner vote, violating the proper amendment process (Bylaws Article IX, Section 9.1)
  • ❌ Enforced penalties without providing homeowners written notice, opportunity to correct, or a hearing (Bylaws Article IX, Section 9.3)
  • ❌ Denied residents the ability to nominate new board candidates or participate in the democratic process
  • ❌ Ignored homeowner concerns regarding safety, transparency, and board eligibility

This petition calls on FirstService Residential and the Villages of Millwood Master HOA Board to:

  • Honor the legal requirement to hold a community-wide vote
  • Restore the nomination process
  • Reinstate transparency and lawful leadership procedures

We, the undersigned, are not seeking to overthrow — we are asking for our legal right to vote, our right to participate, and our right to be represented.

ridiculous that we are paying fees for a board that acts like they own the place. follow the bylaws or step down already.

I totally agree the board is not doing what they supposed to do and some people should not be be allowed on the board because of previous history and not being an owner of a property whih in the community
