STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:
We, the undersigned Parents, Coaches, Volunteers, Family, and Regular Members of the Monroe Woodbury Little League (MWLL), hereby formally submit this Vote of No Confidence in the current Board of Directors and the election process currently overseen by NY District 19. Our goal is to restore transparency, accountability, and the effective leadership our children deserve.
CORE GRIEVANCES:
- Violation of Constitutional Notice: The mandatory 10-day written notice for the Annual Meeting on 23 MAR 2026 was ignored; notice was provided only 5 days prior, disenfranchising members on short notice. (Eastern Region Little League acknowledged this issue on 23 MAR 2026).
- Improper Voter Qualifications: Due to a reported loss of historical membership records, the use of incomplete 2025 background check data as the sole criteria for "Membership in Good Standing" unfairly disenfranchises active, long-term volunteers. We request a fair process to verify and restore the voting rights of all Regular Members from the 2025 season, as supported by the Eastern Region's commitment to ensuring all members are notified. (Eastern Region Little League acknowledged this issue on 23 MAR 2026).
- Operational Opacity: A lack of transparency regarding expenditures, reporting, and policy decisions, coupled with poor communication that has hindered team play and player experience.
- Retaliatory Governance: The recent resignation or removal of dedicated board members who were making positive contributions, creating instability, and eroding community trust.
FORMAL REQUESTS:
- Immediate Stay of Election: Cease and desist any elections prior to a proper, Little League compliant nomination process and notice period.
- Revision of Current Leadership: We move for a renewal of leadership via a fair and equitable membership vote.
- Independent Audit & Membership Roll: Conduct an independent audit of the 2024-2025 rosters to ensure all "Regular Members" are granted their right to vote.
- Emergency Election Reform: Conduct an emergency, accelerated nomination period and a virtual vote to ensure maximum participation.
- Absentee Balloting: Provide a secure absentee ballot option for members unable to attend any in-person votes due to the lack of proper notice.
- Reinstatement of Contributors: Reinstate recently removed/resigned board members who were contributing positively to league operations during this transition.

finally someone is speaking up about this mess. i have been volunteering for 3 seasons and they act like i dont exist. disgusting.
Ridiculous that they tried to pull a fast one with the meeting notice. We deserve to know who is running things. Do it right for once.
Fix the elections. Keep the politics out of our kids sports.
What a joke this board turned into. My kid plays ball here and the lack of communication is pathetic. Time for a complete overhaul.
Total incompetence. How do you just lose the records? MWLL needs new leadership ASAP.
