The massive surge in support proves this town is done with Micky Garus and his pathetic attempts to spread hate. He needs to see that we are not backing down until he is off the city council for good.

I moved from Arizona to get away from these hatriots. we don't need them on our town council.
Many of the residents of Dallas now feel threatened by such blatant racism. This man owns a gun shop; is making implied threats of harm; identifies himself as a City Councilor on his website; and the City of Dallas does nothing. This situation will only get worse.
I may not live in Dallas anymore, but it is my hometown. It's not a shock that Micky feels this way, it's a shock that he thought he could get away with such a blatant attack on transgendered people. His words were extremely transphobic and I am embarrassed that Dallas would even consider him a worthwhile member of their council after this. Please recall Micky Garus from his seat. Please do not let a member of your counsel be allowed to perpetuate hate crimes like this.
Elected officials must be held to a higher standard. Micky Garus is a threat to the sanctity of what the united states was founded on. Fear mongering, preaching of hatred, religion and gender bias... Unacceptable.
Who better to play on the fears and insecurities of people than a man that owns a gun shop. Making lots of money Micky?
This guy is an embarrassment and should never have been allowed to take office.

As long as this man is on the city council, I WILL NOT SPEND $1 in Dallas, my hometown. I’m very embarrassed to be associated with Dallas, Oregon right now as long as this is how Dallas makes the news. I’m a teacher who deals with discipline & struggling students right now & we need to get these weapons of war that ravage human bodies off of the streets, not raffling them off as a fundraiser. Unbelievable!
