This petition is to let the city of Manistique know that the signage on Larry Kouw's property is offensive and disruptive and needs to be removed.
Manistique is a city based in travel & tourism and this diminishes the image of a safe quiet community in the Upper Pennisula. This for many people in town is a great area to take an evening cruise and enjoy the scenic view and it is distastful and repulsive to the eye while lowering property value (If you think you could sell a house with this guy as your neighbor you are mistaken). If you have issues with your neighbors deal with them in a more civil manner, you will get much further than you will with signs like these.
Having signs in your yard is one thing, but when they are say things like "my neighbor is a bohemien asshole", "my neighbor is a pervert", and referring to the police as "the anal patrol" something must be done. It is distasteful, disrespectful and borderline harassment!
I urge ALL citizens of Manistique to sign this petition to force the city to deal with this issue on the State Road quickly!
