Mayor Silva has failed the residents of Walnut Creek. Her efforts to cover-up the child sexual abuse case involving a part-time Lesher Center employee have left her creditability damaged beyond repair. Her failure of leadership has included a blatant and unethical attempt to pressure the City Attorney into ending an independent investigation, a failure to hold employees who lied accountable and a complete disregard for the minor victims that were allegedly abused at a city owned facility. For the good of Walnut Creek it is time for the Mayor to step down or face a recall.
