Rio Vista PD is awesome. Why is the mayor going after them. Why is he not giving reasons
This town needs the police department, this area is growing and with growth comes issues.
Property tax and sales tax is how the city gets majority of its revenue. So when the city suddenly wants to disband it’s police department is questionable. A city should have the moral duty to provide law enforcement services. Maybe we should just disband the city altogether! JCSO is already overwhelmed why cut police funds? It’s not like your fixing the streets or getting Economical Development so where is our money going??
Dealt with Sgt Poole several times and found him to a upstanding public servant.
We need the PD rio officers where there as soon as i called when my son wasent breathing not even 2 minutes they where there!
If this is true, we need the police more than the mayor!
Leave the RVPD alone. Do your job and let them do theirs.

After seeing a mayor do the chiefs job and letting city council members hold personal vendettas on a cop and taking his job away and allowing city council member to loose composure during a meeting on video and in front of the public face he should not be in office here not saying he is a bad person but be more professional thank you
