Given that the Gov of Texas has removed any/all mask mandates across the state, the parents and students of Frisco ISD deserve to see a mask/no mask vote from their elected leaders as soon as possible so that families can make alternative arrangements for the 2021-22 school year if necessary. When pressed, members either pass the responsibility onto the TEA (which has given FISD the free-will to make their own decision for the district) or have largely ignored the parents and students. Voters/taxpayers/parents/students all deserve a recorded vote on allowing our students to choose whether or not they want to continue to wear a mask or to breathe freely. It should be a personal choice.
