Final supporters
For a society as large and prestigious as EUYSRA, it is very important that any member who wishes to have a say in the next year's Committee be allowed to do so. This year, such a thing was not allowed.
Numerous requests were made to allow voting by proxy for members who were unable to attend. Numerous requests were made to open up the vote to an online ballot because of the foreseeably poor turnout.
These requests were denied, and the AGM attended by less than 20 of our 150+ members, with a single vote deciding the winner.
We hereby call on the current President to hold a re-vote for the elected committee members under more open and accessible conditions, so that those who care enough to vote are allowed to do so.

I support a re-vote because I think it is the best way to resolve the current conflict, rather than because I favour any specific candidate
Although I am not a paid member of the society, I have attended the society's meetings and events. I think it would be a good idea to allow anyone unable to attend the AGM, particularly members of the committee, to vote if they wish.
