We, the undersigned alumni, feel that it is not fair that
only SGA alumni are allowed to vote in the MIAAC (Masdar Institute Alumni
Association Council) elections. All
alumni should have the right to vote for their representatives. As a result, we would like to request that
the MIAA Charter be modified accordingly.

Amidst the petitioning process, I am still curious to know what was the logic behind restricting voting to ex-SGA members only.

The current voting process is preposterous! What if I voted against all the SGA members in the SGA elections? What a ridiculous attempt at seizing power (of some sort).

Seriously? Why are we still doing this like its a private club. Everyone graduated from the same place so everyone should get a vote.
