I have been meeting with local business owners to discuss how modern transportation policies could benefit the peninsula. The feedback suggests that many people recognize the need for more efficient ways to navigate our streets. I will continue to present these arguments to the city council as we move forward.

it makes no sense to ban boards but let cars clog every street. let the kids ride to work.
TOTAL WASTE OF POLICE TIME. let them skate.
Ridiculous that people get fined for just trying to get across town. Charleston needs to catch up.
Every time I see someone get stopped for riding a board downtown I get so mad. Its a cheap way to travel and should be encouraged.
Its just a skateboard not a tank. Stop treating us like criminals for using a green way to get around.

parking is a nightmare as it is. stop making it harder for people to get where they need to go.
