Petition to the Queensview Board of Directors

We, the undersigned cooperators of Queensview, are strongly opposed to the proposed installation of gates on the Queensview parking lots. We have several concerns that we believe warrant serious reconsideration of this proposal:

• Emergency Vehicles: There is a significant distance between the buildings and the parking lots. In an emergency, such gates could delay critical access for first responders.
• Rideshare Vehicles: Many residents require assistance entering and exiting rideshare vehicles. Being forced to walk from the building to the street (and back) poses a significant burden.
• Delivery Vehicles: Vendors, restaurants, and food services would have to park on the street, requiring them to carry heavy items and packages over a longer distance.

We also note that many cooperators were unaware of this project until recently.

We respectfully request that you rescind this project or revise it to include only the necessary re-paving and re-painting of the parking lots.
