I have finished drafting the formal request for review to the Ministry of Education based on the operating cost shortfall data. We are currently coordinating with the local school board representatives to secure a sit-down session regarding the closure. I will report back on the board response as soon as correspondence is received.

My kids go here and it is just not right to expect them to travel that far every single day. Keep the school open!
36k is nothing in the grand scheme of things! find the money somewhere else and quit punishing rural families.
These kids deserve better. A community needs a school to stay alive.
Sad to see this happen to such a good school. really hope they reverse this decision soon.

The travel time is way too long for little kids. absolutely ridiculous choice by the district.
