The momentum for our preschool is incredible. It is clear that this village wants its school back.

Thankyou for your comments. We are fully aware that the condition of the hall was the main contributory factor to the pre-school closing down which is why funds have been raised over the last four years to bring the Hall back in line with modern standards. In January 2018 construction is due to start, refurbishing the facilities as well as putting in a rear extension. Once this is completed, the hall will more than meet the requirements. Funding has been raised from various bodies who are keen to see the pre-school return to the Hall which is why we are beginning to drum up support so this can happen in parallel to the construction work. I am happy to share more details of the imminent works to interested parties.
I would love to send my son to a school in our village where he can make friends from the local area
Our daughter is approaching pre-School age and we’d love the opportunity to enroll her in the village.
For parents who don’t drive this is essential, as a support network for new mums, to abate loneliness and isolation of first time parents this is essential. To aid the socialisation of toddlers and ease transition to school. Our village needs a pre-school, it is the introduction to our “community” for the very youngest members of the village and it is now being postponed until they start school. Wrong!
Having a pre-school here makes the transition from pre-school to primary school so much easier for the parents and children of Quainton. I wish Quainton Pre-school had been up and running for my third child who missed out due to its closure. It was also difficult for me, because I had to organise lifts to get her to another village pre-school as I am unable to drive.
Definitely need a new preschool in the village.

I can't drive so I'm unable to take/collect my little boy when he starts pre-school in January as I wouldn't be able to do the school run as well because of time clashes. Luckily I have a friend who has offered to take my son as he child attends the same preschool the same days. My biggest worry is my son has health issues and if there's a problem it'll take me at least half an hour to be with him. It's a facility that would be well used by our expanding village
