We the undersigned are agreed that the actions of the Millfelds Childrens Centre and The Learning Trust, in changing the locks and excluding Happitime Playgroup from their downstairs space and threatening them with future eviction from the premises was totally unacceptable. We all agree that Happitime Playgroup has been unfairly treated and are shocked that The Learning Trust has acted with such blatant disregard for the rights and feelings of the staff, parents, carers and children of a local playgroup that has been in existence and worked within this community for over 40 years. We hope that The Learning Trust will now do its best to resolve this situation, honour its obligations to Happitime and do all that it can to help secure a future for this valued children's service.
