We, the undersigned residents of Northeast St. Johns County, respectfully request the reallocation of tax dollars to address the evident disparities in community resources, particularly in the area of public athletic facilities and gymnasiums.

Northeast St. Johns County is an active and thriving community where residents value fitness, sports and recreational activities. Yet, our access to public athletic facilities and gymnasiums is desperately limited compared to other regions within our county. This shortage significantly restricts recreational and sports opportunities for individuals of all ages in our community, adversely impacting our community's overall wellbeing and quality of life.

Considering that our tax dollars contribute significantly to the county's budget, we believe it is only fair and just that a proportionate amount of these resources be reinvested back into our community. Public facilities are integral to creating an inclusive, engaging and healthy community, and it is time our corner of the county sees a just distribution of resources.

We are calling for:

• The assessment of current distribution of public athletic facilities across the regions within the county.
• The strategic plan for developing new, or improving existing, public athletic facilities and gymnasiums in Northeast St. Johns County.
• The transparency and community engagement in decisions about the allocation of county resources.

By signing this petition, we voice our support for the reinvestment of our taxes into the development and improvement of public athletic facilities and gymnasiums in Northeast St. Johns County. We trust in our elected officials to take immediate action to remedy this disparity.
