The news is out and the second entrance for the station has been confirmed. I am honestly stunned by this result and I owe this entirely to your support. We should all be proud of what happened when we insisted on a change.

I am honestly a bit overwhelmed by the 250 people who have added their names to this. It really shows how many people want a more accessible station and I am so grateful that you decided to join in.

This is absolutely necessary given the increased level of commuters from all the recent developments. It would reduce my commuting time significantly and also allow easier interchange with E. Putney which is vital particularly when there are district line problems

If a 2nd entrance were built it would make like so much easier for local residents and people who have to change from tube to overground which can add an additional 15/20 minutes to journey times & is not a pleasant walk in winter.

Much needed and will make a huge different to safety and comfort of commuters. Given all the new developments in Putney, the burden on the single entrance is not sustainable. Let's plan for the future and a successful and thriving Putney.

I work in Putney and a second entrance to the station will help with congestion in the mornings. It will also help with how insanely busy the area outside the station becomes. With everyone exiting the station and the bus stops, sometimes you can hardly get through the crowds!

A second entrance to Putney station is desperately needed, at busy rush hour times the stairs are so dangerous due to the number of people trying to enter / exit. A second entrance along Upper Richmond road would help with this and also support the growing development in the area, as well as better links with East Putney tube station.

Everything points to the necessity for a second entrance. If one tries to reach platform 3 around 6pm, it is often physically impossible due to the incredible crush of passengers trying to leave the station.

No brainer

This will ease congestion at the station main entrance and considerably shorten the distance walked by East Putney residents and link to the tube station too.
