The Talisman will open its doors once again to serve our community. I am deeply appreciative of the 590 people who held onto the belief that this neighborhood space deserved a future. We will keep a close watch to ensure the transition proceeds smoothly for everyone involved.

This is one place I can go in on my own and feel safe meet my friends once a week have a laugh and no people will look after me as I go home on my own as I'm no spring chicken
Its been in our community for as far as I can remember and it as always done a lot for charity and raising money for the old fokes so reopen our community pub Pete thatcher as helped every person sometime in their life and his a top bloke save our pub
The Talisman is part of history for a lot of people past and present. There will be a lot of people there in spirit on Saturday who were the characters of the Talisman for many, many years, my dad being one of them. Great pub and great area with lots of lovely people. Keep The Talisman open.
Had many happy times in there with my late Husband ,,needs to reopen its a part of the Scotlands ,been there since I was a young woman ,,and I'm now 69 ,,,
This pub is the heart of the area. Do the brewery know or care about the 20 plus people with learning difficultys who are made to feel welcome every monday by the landlord Peter Thacker?

There is no violence at this pub, no one has been killed like a lot of other pubs around. It has a friendly welcoming atmosphere and does not deserve to be closed down due to this one occurrence.
