The increase in support has prompted a formal request for a meeting with the state health department to discuss standardized screening protocols. I am currently finalizing a briefing document that outlines the medical necessity of this testing for all newborns.

SO IMPORTANT. babies lives are at stake here people!
My son was born with a heart defect and we almost lost him. If they had checked him earlier it would have saved us so much trauma. This is just common sense.
My niece had a heart defect and we didnt know until it was almost to late. If this test was done at the hospital she would have been fine from the start.
1 in 100 is way too high to ignore. Do the right thing and mandate this test.
Whatever it costs is worth it to save a baby. Make it law.

Why isnt this already standard everywhere?? Its a simple test that could save thousand of lives. Get it done NY.
