Here in Strabane,we have a very busy Bus Depot, and after 6 o'clock, there is no way for people to contact a taxi firm, family member or friend, to ask for transport to wherever they need to be. I have asked BT to install a payphone adjacent to the site. But they refuse unless it is financially viable. Even though, a few months ago, they renovated a payphone on Market Street, which has easy access to two different taxi ranks. I hope to gain a substantial number of vote here, so I can show BT that the public desires a pay phone at this site.
