On behalf of all condo owners and tenants in Canada, we call on Mayor John Tory, James Pasternak and Toronto City Council as well as Doug Ford, Roman Baber and the Legislative Assembly of Ontario as well as Justin Trudeau and the House of Commons of Canada to limit the power of Property Management, Condo Boards and Landlords who would risk the health and safety of countless Canadians during a pandemic.

We respectfully request that Property Management, Condo Boards and Landlords only be granted access to enter private residents in emergency situations or if necessary work is required, such as risk to life and/or damaged property that needs to be repaired.

Currently, the residents of TSCC 2505 feel threatened, voiceless, and unsafe as management wishes to enter units for unnecessary reasons, such as examining balconies for "aesthetic purposes". Furthermore, residents have felt attacked and unsupported when they try to approach the Board and Property Management to rectify situations.

Residents feel that the safety, security and maintenance of the interior of the building needs to be addressed and not compromised due to the current situation of the Covid-19 pandemic, rather than feel that they are being attacked, violated or put at risk for expressing their concerns.

Once more we call on these people named above, these people in power to protect countless Canadians and allow them to feel safe in their own homes.
