Our schools have suffered too many staff cuts in the past 3 years. Additional personnel cuts to bridge the financial gap are unacceptable. While we acknowledge that some staffing cuts were proposed earlier in the Spring and are necessary, we oppose all personnel cuts which have only recently been introduced. This includes, but is not limited to the 7 special education aides and 6 instructional aides as mentioned in the News Leader article (Monday, June 11, 2012.)
We respectfully ask that you find alternative places to cut in order to protect and preserve instruction.
Thank You!
