Imagine having a service dog that is not ALLOWED to work for his safety? While he has full protection under the law, San Bernardino CountyAnimal Control REFUSES to enforce Penal Code 365.7 which makes it a misdemeanor to "misrepresent a dog as a service animal" They knowingly allow people and their dogs to disturb and annoy the public by allowing these animals not only to go into public places, BUT TO RUN LOOSE in public buildings. To make matters worse, ONE OF THESE FAKE DOG HAS ATTACKED NINE ANIMALS. It doesn't seem possible that the general public has to endure loose dogs running in the stores and IN COURT with the ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER SITTING ONLY FEET AWAY. With photographic evidence which confirms a service dog is a fake as well as a subpoena to provide the required California Assistance Dog tag#, they still REFUSE to look into the matter (although they are the enforcement agency for this issue) People with service dogs have NOT been able to bring them out to help since THEY ARE IN FEAR OF THEIR SERVICE DOGS BEING ATTACKED!
