The developers have officially pulled their plans for the land off High View. I am exhausted by the long hours spent fighting this but the Green Belt is safe for now. Stay alert because we need to ensure this stays protected for good.

Totally opposed. Plenty of brown field sites available. Local infrastructure will not support this. Affordable housing never stays affordable. This is an AONB. Green belt is NOT to be messed with. I will not tolerate this is any form. Shame on Paradigm and particularly on the land owner.
Paradigm should be stopped at all costs from this shameful exercise. Saying its under the guise of "affordable housing" is just their way of trying to get round a protected part of our villages green belt and is just blatant profiteering
I hate the thought of building on green belt in the village, having lived here for 53 years. Our roads and trains are already ridiculously overloaded. I would like to see affordable housing being built without other larger properties in brownfield and in-filling sites around the village.
Stylecroft and Kings Roads will not be able to cope with any extra traffic. The doctors surgery and schools will be unable to cope. This development is outside off the democratically agreed local plan which should be adhered too.
10 acres off High View (off Stylecroft Road) is under threat by Paradigm (see photo). This proposed development is not in the Neighbourhood or Local Plan. The land was assessed as highly valued green belt land in the 2016 Green Belt Assessment by Chiltern & South Bucks District Council.
I agree we must stop this nonsense you only have to look at London. The more houses we have more population
My late RCM piano prof, who was the Vice president and Senior Professor had lived in Wimbledon since before WW2. He once lamented that when he was my age it was once like 'your neck of the woods', the Chalfonts, but now look at it. The Greenbelt was to stop London spreading further outwards, but under the Conservatives it has been relentlessly and constantly gradually eaten away. Don't be conned by local councillor candidates who've also failed to stop HS2. The Greenbelt MUST remain as Greenbelt. Vote Bucks Residents Association

Not only would this development destroy a wonderful field containing much wildlife, but the access to it is congested already and in a terrible state. Also the impact on the local schools and doctors surgery would be very detrimental for the village as a whole
