Hello! My name is Holly Pawl and I am on the board at Indian Trail Athletic Association. I am also a proud parent of two amazing boys that play baseball at our park and I'm asking for your support to keep them and other children safe. Please help me get a speed bump put in on Redskin Trail, the main entrance, into Edna Love Park. People entering our park don't always pay attention to the speed limit and are putting our precious little ones at risk of getting hurt or even worse. I am planning on taking all of my signatures to the Indian Trail Council meeting at the end of March. Plain and simple, I'm asking you all for your help and support to get this done. I thank you in advance.

Updates

February 27, 2017

The volume of support has secured us a formal meeting with the town traffic safety coordinator. I am currently finalizing the presentation that outlines our request for the installation of speed bumps on Redskin Trail.

People treat that road like a race track. My kid plays t-ball there and im terrified every single time we cross the street. Put the bump in already.

I hope this passes because we really do need a speed bump or speed cushion in that area. Got my vote.

I have seen how very fast some of the cars come down that road, with no regard for the cars parked on the side letting people out on to the road, serious situation.
