Please join us in our fight against the Three Rivers Public School District. Many of you may not be aware of the travesty TRPS is allowing to occur. Our preschoolers as well as our small special needs preschoolers are being forced or recommended into using Barrows school as their location, even though there are plenty of elementary schools within our district. Barrows is primarily an adult education school, as well as a reform school for teens., In the wake of tragedies such as the Sandy Hook Massacre, allowing children to attend school alongside adults with no safeguards in place is not something that we as citizens of this community should take lightly. If these teachers and children died for no other reason then to make us more aware as parents and guardians then it is a lesson we should have learned. We need to band together and show TRPS that the people of Three Rivers care too much for the safety of our children to allow this to happen. I will be hand delivering our petition to the Michigan Board of Education in Lansing and demanding they pull all children out of Barrows for their safety.
