To: All current and future NYC retirees - especially those on Medicare or who expect to be

Petition: We, the retirees and expected retirees of NYC, demand that our current medical coverage during retirement remain untouched. We protest and demand that our Medicare coverage and secondary medical insurance coverage, to which we are entitled, NOT be replaced by an Advantage Care plan as the City wishes to do. That is not what we worked for, not what we were promised, not what we want, and is outrageously unfair after having dedicated our careers to public service for which our financial rewards were often less than what we would have gotten had we worked in the private sector. We demand that all remain the same, with no changes – as was promised.
