The track is happening at the old dog park because the owners finally agreed to open the gates to us. We forced their hand and turned that wasteland into our new riding ground. Keep your eyes open for the first official dirt day.

Final supporters
Some rather cool folks in Attleboro MA (myself and my fiancee') have come up with a great idea for a new motocross track but we need your help! Before presenting this idea to the land owner we wanted to see how much interest we could stir up! This petition is for information/interest gathering only and the idea for the track is the dream of only myself and my fiancee' please don't steal the idea-just add your name and we will do all the hard work of getting this off the ground.
The proposed site is the former Raynham -Taunton Greyhound park. This is an ideal location for many reasons- lots of land, no grouchy residents around as its surrounded by M-F businesses, tons of parking, indoor facilities-no more disgusting port-o-potties (your welcome ladies!) yummy food cooked to order, DIRT from another business piled up in the parking lot just waiting to be ridden on, possible enclosed area to rent for pits with running water!
The ideas are endless-research shows the land owner also owns a rather big section of the woods behind the track. So woods riders there is still hope for you as well!

*** To everyone asking about ATV's and UTV's- I am not too familiar with them so once we get to the planning stage I will need some help!! I am also excited to add some winter fun to our plan, snow mobiles, cross country skiing etc....a good use for the property in winter making it a year round facility meaning more profit for the land owner!!!!

We just hit 500 signatures and the momentum is crushing. It is time for the owners of the Raynham-Taunton Greyhound park to stop letting that land rot and see the obvious demand for this track.

I literally own a home and live almost directly behind this location, and would love to see this happen! My only request is that MX ready racing ATVs also be allowed to use the track.
This is such a good use of a spot that currently makes the city no money. Plus this is a great sport and we could use a community gathering again.
To me riding is a way out of my everyday life, A strees release & also a way for my family to spend time together, get out into nature & in joy each others company & some good competitiveness with each other & thers not many places we get to ride thats & a legal safe place would help keep people safe & also out of trouble
It is honestly a great way to bring revenue to local business such as restaurants, convenient stores and much more. Not to mention it keeps riders off the streets by giving them a place to ride. Racers like me have very few places to ride durring the week and can be dangerous showing up to race day unprepared.
I worked there for a year or so and after the state shut the dog track down I always thought it would be a great space for a venue like this. I bet the Carney's would actually go for it to.

I've been going against the city for 16 years to get a facility. No one wants to spend money. I moved to California for a few years and their are endles places to ride both private and state owned. Massachusetts has to get with the times.
