Hello members of Anola and close by communities! I have recently come up with an idea to open a Pump Track/Bike Park here in Anola, MB. I have already submitted a letter to Mayor Therrien and Ward 4 Councillor Melinda Warren, both of whom showed interest in my idea and encourage me to come speak to the entire Council and some members of the public about it. What I would like right now is to collect as many names as possible from people who would also genuinely love to have a Pump Track/Bike Park here. I look forward to seeing your responses and hopefully this idea come to life!
A Pump Track/Bike Park would be a great free space for both adults and children to get some beneficial outdoor time and encourage an active lifestyle. Since the closest Pump Track is in Sage Creek, it would also promote people in neighbouring communities to visit Anola. In turn this could generate more cash flow to our towns businesses, and open the possibility of people discovering the new housing development that is currently being built and listed.

The feedback I have received from residents confirms that many of you value the idea of an accessible outdoor space for our neighborhood. I am currently preparing my presentation for the upcoming meeting with the Council members and your support provides a strong foundation for those conversations.

Seeing the momentum build for this bike park confirms that our community truly values accessible outdoor spaces. The interest shown by our neighbors makes me feel much more confident as I prepare to present this vision to the council.

My boys would use this place every day after school instead of just sitting at home playing xbox
Please consider Velo Solutions for the track build as they built the sage creek track and are the foremost track builders in the world and understand the criticality of a proper base in our climate to ensure longevity. Furthermore, reach out to Jason Connor as he is now living in the province and a world record holder on a pump track and we are both pushing forward with progressive development of Manitobas bike trail network and play parks.
